STATUS Construction Completed
Set within the Peloponnesian hills, the resort features pavilions and villas that blend with the landscape through the use of native trees and private gardens. The landscape design -which includes circulation, green roofs, gardens, courts, swimming pools, and terraces- emphasizes sustainability by minimizing water usage, preserving biodiversity, and respecting the surrounding UNESCO World Heritage landscape.
The resort’s design ethos, reflects a commitment to tranquility and simplicity, where balancing comfort and stimulation is the ultimate act of luxury. Each villa is a private sanctuary where the boundaries between the built environment and the natural world are artfully blurred. The landscape offers a seamless transition from the interior elegance to the rugged beauty of the Peloponnesian outdoors and the Aegean Sea.
The use of local materials not only reduces the ecological footprint but also pays homage to the rich cultural context of the region. The resort’s operational practices align with the principles of eco-friendly luxury, ensuring that guests enjoy an experience that is both indulgent and responsible. The thoughtful placement of each villa maximizes natural light and ventilation, reducing the need for artificial climate control and further solidifying Amanzoe’s status as a paragon of sustainable resort living.
